The president of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Centre) Prachanda  submitted to the President, The letter of majority with the claiming the new Priminister. He has support of The Communist Party of Nepal (CPN-UML) , Rastriya Swatantra Party - RSP, The Rastriya Prajatantra Party, The Janmaat Party and The Nagarik Unmukti Party, The Janata Samajbadi Party, and three indipendent MLA (Prabhu Shah, Kiran Kumar Shah, Amaresh Kumar Shinh).  

Proving the majority of 170 MLAs, President Bidhya Devi Bhandari appointed Prachanda as a new Prime Minister of Nepal.
