Ed Sheeran performs "Perfect" in Brisbane.

On the 17th of February, Ed Sheeran celebrated his 32nd birthday while he was about to his global tour in Australia. The celebration was acompained by his close friends Liam Hemsworth and Paul Barrie O'Brien, and the three of them traded presents with one another while they were there. He finished his three-night run on February 19 in Brisbane at Suncorp Stadium with an electric performance on Tides, Blow, I Am Mess, and Shiver. His run consisted of three consecutive weekends. As of right now, he is scheduled to do concerts at the Accor Stadium in Sydney on the 24th and 25th of February, the Melbourne Cricket Ground on the 2nd and 3rd of March, the Adelaide Oval on March 7, and the Optus Stadium in Perth on March. Ticket sales for the first two days of Ed Sheeran's show in Brisbane marked a records, while the third day of the event in Brisbane also broke records for ticket sales.

Seven songs were performed by him, the most notable of which were The A Team, Castle on the Hill, and Don't. During the performances of Galway Girl and Celestial, he switched his instrument once more and even convinced everyone to sing the chorus of Thinking Out Loud. Before he performed each song, he also shared some experiences with his fans. One of those songs was Perfect, which he had written for a lady he had fallen in love with in 2015 and who is now the mother of his two children. He brought his Australian tour to a close with the song "I Don't Need You," which was performed in Brisbane. The doors to the event opened at around 5 p.m. (Australian Eastern Standard Time), Budjerah and Maisie Peters were already on stage, keeping the audience entertained with their performances.


Prices of the tickets for the 'A' reserve area varied from as high as $189.90 to as low as $89.90, while admission fees for the 'B' and 'C' reserve sections of the stadium are $149.90 and $109.90 respectively. In addition, spectators were observed forming lines outside of Suncorp Stadium in order to purchase a wide selection of items from two enormous stands.
